Implant Dentistry

Dental implants are the most ideal solution available to those with one or more missing teeth. Dental implants act as the replacement for both the crown of the tooth and the tooth’s root, making it the most stable, secure, strong, and resilient tooth replacement available. Dental implants replace missing teeth without damaging any adjacent teeth. There are many different types of implants that can fit each persons different needs including replacing front teeth and giving a very aesthetic result.

When in place, dental implants will:

  • Replace one or more missing teeth
  • Prevent the loss of facial volume
  • Resolve bite problems or joint pain
  • Restore your ability to digest, chew, and speak
  • Prevent other teeth from shifting in the mouth
  • Add support, security, and comfort to a bridge or denture
  • Enhance the natural beauty of your smile

Implant retained dentures offer a stable solution for completely edentulous patients; or those without any teeth in either the upper or lower jaw. An implant retained denture would consist of a minimum of 3-4 implants placed in the bone and a acrylic denture that is fabricated to “click in” to the implants in the jaw and this provides the most stable form of denture and many long time denture wearers have never felt more at ease and more comfortable in their dentures once they have transitioned to an implant retained denture. This is such a great treatment option for edentulous patients.
